The survey insights team manages Stax’s survey-driven primary research process, helping to accumulate impactful market insights to aid the decision-making process of our clients. The survey insight team oversees the designing, programming, and fielding efforts for web-based surveys, as well as handling the data collation, preparation, and analysis of the survey data.

In the role of the analyst, the team members will own the end-to-end process of survey implementation from programming complex web-based surveys to data collation and analysis, using advanced statistical analysis methods.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and implement web-based surveys to best meet client requirements.
  • Monitor and course-correct sample collection process and clean the collected data to minimize bad data and biases in the samples.
  • Analyze the survey data through relevant and appropriate analytical methods and investigate trends and insights based on the data.
  • Application of traditional and advanced statistical modeling, clustering, and other data analysis techniques to further evaluate and understand customer behavior in relevant markets.
  • Incorporate the findings into project deliverables, aligning with other sources of information to provide a coherent and accurate picture to the client.

 

Required Competencies:

  • An undergraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
  • Strong comprehension of quantitative data and an analytical mindset to work with such data.
  • Good knowledge/learning capabilities in understanding/executing various statistical analysis practices.
  • Clarity in communication and ability to clearly articulate findings and data-driven conclusions.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to run complex projects in tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (MS Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
  • Working knowledge of SPSS, Decipher, RStudio, and JavaScript will be beneficial.
